These pages display the recent weather conditions recorded by my automatic weather station. The weather station is located in Oswaldtwistle, Lancashire, UK, at a height above mean sea level of 185 metres, ( approximate Latitude 53 degrees North, 2 degrees 30 minutes West). The AWS is located in a garden location and has a somewhat sheltered exposure due to nearby buildings and trees. In addition to the AWS I maintain a manual rain gauge for use as a comparison to the AWS rain gauge. The manual rainfall readings are normally taken daily in the early morning usually between 07:30 to 09:00.
